This project merges the art of textiles with a profound respect for nature. It raises questions about the environmental impact of the textile industry, its often unchecked scale. However, it speaks to softness, femininity, inner strength, and depth. And it also speaks to the transformative power of water. Slowly, almost invisibly, it reshapes external and internal systems while cleansing them. Where there is water, there is life.

This painting earned me recognition from the Luxembourg Art Prize in 2021.
